Patients who have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) climbed to 35 on Saturday with four new cases, according to the Department of Health (DOH).advertisement
One of those who recovered from the disease -which is more commonly fatal to elderly people and those with pre-existing medical conditions -was Patient 11 , a 72-year-old Filipino from San Juan with no travel and exposure history.
His symptoms began March 7 and was confirmed positive on March 9. The patient was discharged on March 27 asymptomatic with one negative result.
Manwhile, Patient 163 is a 55-year-old Filipino from Quezon CIty with no travel history.
The patient developed symptoms on March 6 and was confirmed positive for the virus on March 16. He was discharged on March 25 asymptomatic with two negative results.
