Former Senator Bongbong Marcos on Wednesday said he is slowly recovering from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
“The test was over a week ago but the results just came out. In the meantime, I’ve been slowly getting better,” Marcos said on Twitter as he replied to the Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr.
Locsin told Marcos that he was sorry to hear about the latter’s illness and that he is praying for him.
“You’re a strong guy; you’ll make it,” Locsin said.
“Not long now we’ll open a fine bottle of wine. Stay safe please!” Marcos replied.
